Story Behind the Style
My first blog post, ever.... to share a little about me and my beloved, My Darling Vintage.
I grew up riding horses - so found myself around quality leathers and cowgirl boots most of my childhood. I always loved the way the leather on a saddle felt and admired the easy-going country girl style.
Before I had a chance to understand fashion, I had already developed my own style sense as a young one -- wearing distressed and worn in cowgirl boots, usually paired with one of my (many) girly dresses, my dad's oversized work shirts or a pair of denim trousers.
These memories stuck with me and as I grew up I was always in search for fashion items that resembled that of my childhood - quality leathers bags, boots and easy-going layers of girly wares to compliment my rugged accessories. Here lies the start of My Darling Vintage.
My Darling Vintage is a curated vintage bohemian boutique for the sweet and sexy girl. Our focus is on timeless, quality leather bags, boots and accessories primarily from the 1970s hippie era. The clothing we offer is americana bohemian style - meant for layering, mixing and matching and of course - all pair perfectly with rugged leathers and your favorite western boots.
